Welcome to Nérac, our lovely town in the beautiful and historic region of Val d’Albret, in Gascony, SW France. The Loom Room France is a weaving studio just 5kms south of Nérac, where you’ll find tailor-made residental weaving courses for all abilities; beginners through to experienced weavers, led by me, Stacey Harvey-Brown.

It’s not only weaving on offer here – we offer you a holiday experience we hope you will never forget (in a good way!!). You receive personalised weaving tuition, trips out to local places of interest, markets and great food and drink from the region, as well as home-brewed real English ale from professional micro-brewer, Albret Ales. Home cooking, local wines and the convivial ambience of warm lazy evenings on the terrace watching the sunset and the wildlife, or participating in local social events (if you want to!) are also an important part of your course. Enjoying the wonderfully relaxed joie de vivre of life in the slow lane is part and parcel of your holiday, whether in the company of fellow weavers, or with your significant other! There is plenty in the area for a partner to visit or just to chill and relax!
