The Structure:

Whilst this isn’t a formal course, you will have access to the studio as much as you want. It is up to you how you want to spend your time. I will be in the studio at various times during the day and can answer questions or point you to where you can find the answers and offer hints and tips where appropriate (if desired!) but this is your time and your own learning experience to shape as you see fit.

The Experience:

Give yourself the dedicated time to focus on something you have always wanted to do, in congenial and supportive company. Combine that with good food and time out, this is a relaxing but immersive experience leaving you refreshed but stimulated, relaxed and rejuvenated.

If you are already a weaver and need a break from your regular life where you can relax away from home, indulge in your weaving passion and have personal time to just chill out, then this week could be just the thing for you! We all need to re-charge our batteries and indulge in a little self-love from time to time so that we can show up as our best selves in our lives.

The studio is equipped with 4-, 8-, 12- and 24-shaft looms, equipment, yarns and a library of weaving, textiles, art philosophy and nature books. You will be able to take the self-directed time to focus on a weaving technique or project that you have wanted to learn for a while, or be inspired to create something new.

And aside from weaving, you can  browse through my extensive personal mezzanine library, search out the secluded areas of our large garden and house to read, relax and even tickle the ivories if you like to play the piano…..

With good meals made and sourced from local produce, social company if you want it, and space to think, the time is yours, and La Tuilerie the place to rediscover who you are, what you love to do, and rejuvenate! Get in touch here to arrange your getaway!
