SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Our aim is to spoil you and give you a holiday experience to remember for all the right reasons!!

Mon – arrive late afternoon. Welcome meal (5 courses)

Tues – Workshop all day. Lunch, 3-course evening meal

Wed – Workshop am. Lunch. Local excursion. 3-course evening meal

Thurs – Workshop all day. Lunch. 3- course evening meal

Fri – Workshop am. Lunch. Local excursion. 3-course evening meal

Sat – Nérac market, old town, park excursion and lunch out in Nérac. Workshop pm. Light evening meal

Sun – Workshop all day finishing your projects. 5-course Celebration evening meal

NB. Please note that these suggestions are purely that and you can decide how you want your week to proceed!! 

Sample excursions:

Short trips – Vianne (glass studio/bastide village), Barbaste (historic mill/art gallery)

Fourcés (circular bastide village/brocante, one of the plus-beaux-villages de France), Larrressingle (medieval fortress village and another plus-beaux-villages)

Lamontjoie (fabulous Thursday night market in July & August and lovely lakeside walk), Nomdieu (Templar history)

Longer trips – La Romieu, a third of the plus beaux villages de France (collegiale cloisers with an amazing view), Jardin de Cousiana (beautiful gardens, shop next to La Romieu), evening meal in Condom (cathedral, 4 Musketeers fame)

Lectoure (brocante village, thermal spa, woad shop), Gramont (hilltop village with bee museum, château (National Monument) and vine and wine museum with wine tasting, evening meal at the Auberge du Petit Feuillant.

Cassaigne (Armagnac and wine tour), Abbaye de Flaran (Cistercian abbey now a cultural centre, monastery gardens), evening meal at the Ferme de Flaran (adjacent to the Abbaye)

Wine/Armagnac tasting – if you wish to have an afternoon of wine and armagnac tasting, there are several local places to visit!
